EcoVadis
EVALUATING OUR SUPPLY CHAIN CSR PERFORMANCE THROUGH A THIRD PARTY ASSESSMENT
We launched the EcoVadis program, a third-party certification, in January 2015 after a 6-months pilot phase to evaluate and monitor the sustainability performance of our supply chain partners. Our partner EcoVadis operates the first digital collaborative platform allowing companies to conduct documentary audits assessing the environmental and social performance of their partners, guiding them to pursue continuous improvement programs. Ecovadis scores the ability of our partners to address and progress on labor practices & human rights, environmental stewardship, ethics & fair business practices and sustainable procurement policies based on international guidelines of Global compact, ISO26000 and Global reporting Initiative.
Progressively all our suppliers Environmental, Labor and Fair Business Practices, and sustainable procurement policies will be evaluated. We require any new partner to participate proactively in this program. The Ecovadis scores are shared with our buyers and taken into consideration for RFPs. Depending on the score, we will ask a reassessment within 6 months for the lowest scores or 3 years for the suppliers in the excellence zone.
